Kindergarten – 5th grade

We want kids’ eyes to be opened to the things of God in a world that tries to cover up and distort His loving nature. Through age appropriate teaching, hands on experience, and purpose filled games, kids are introduced to Jesus their Creator, Savior, and Friend.

These values are pervasive through all of our programs:

Children’s Church, Sunday School, Missionettes & Royal Rangers, Kids’ Choir, Junior Bible Quiz and Special Events.

Our desire is to be the best friend and strongest encouragement a parent has in laying a spiritual foundation in the lives of their kids.

We believe that in order for kids to grow spiritually, they need 5 things:

  • a really BIG God they can trust no matter what
  • Someone Else who believes what they believe
  • Another Voice telling them the same thing their parents say
  • Nosey Parents who find out where they are spiritually
  • Uncommon Sense to help them make wiser choices

RESCU Student Ministry is a relationship-based ministry for 6th – 12th grade students. Our focus is to get students to connect first to our God and Savior Jesus Christ, second to their Christian peers, and third to a spiritually grounded adult mentor.

Leviticus 27:30(NLT) 

“One-tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain from the fields or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord and must be set apart to him as holy.

Deuteronomy 14:23 (NLT)

Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship—the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored—and eat it there in his presence. This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds. Doing this will teach you always to fear the Lord your God.

This first is the tithe, or “tenth” of our income. We return to the Lord 10% of what He’s given us, because it belongs to Him. The tithe is a very practical and tangible way to put God first.

If you are not tithing already, a great way to start is with the Three-Month Tithe Challenge. Essentially, it’s a contract based on the promises of God in Malachi 3:10.

Malachi 3:10 (NLT)

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!

We are confident that if you commit to tithe for three months, God will hold true to His promises of blessings for you.

2. Return 10% of your income to God for 90 days through giving at the church or by giving online.

3. Write down your story of what God has done in your life for 90 days and share it with us.
